Join Carrie Klaus, ERYT 500 for this special Yoga with Weights Series.
As the seasons grow colder, drier, and more changeable, Ayurveda invites us to cultivate the qualities that Vata needs most: warmth, steadiness, nourishment, and grounding.
In this seasonal Yoga with Weights series, we’ll combine mindful yoga movement with moderate resistance training to build strength without overtaxing the nervous system. Expect slow, intentional movements, longer holds, controlled transitions, and an emphasis on the legs, hips, core, back, and whole-body stability.
Rather than pushing to exhaustion, we’ll explore what it feels like to develop strength while conserving energy, creating a practice that leaves you feeling grounded, warm, steady, and resourced.
No previous experience with weights is necessary. Come ready to move, strengthen, and settle into the season.
A Vata-season practice for building strength without spending yourself.
