Join Carrie Klaus, ERYT 500 for this special Yoga with Weights Series.
In this 4 week long series of classes we will utilize light hand weights and ankle weights in the traditional hatha yoga postures to help build strength and stability while you practice.
The one hour long classes are offered every Tuesday, beginning June 2nd for 4 weeks at 5:45pm.
This class is perfect for:
those with hypermobility who need additional stability to protect their joints
those who are experiencing muscle mass reduction due to aging
those looking to strengthen their bones with the addition of weighted resistance
anyone looking to add more resistance to their hatha yoga practice
Each 60-minute class will consists of a warm up, active hatha yoga postures with weights, and a cool down stretch and relaxation.
Class begins 5:45pm on Tuesday, June 2nd. The last class is at 5:45pm Tuesday, June 23rd.
REMEMBER: No special class pass is required- your regular passes will work for this class, however, NO-SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED A DROP IN PASS RATE. Space is limited and reservations are required to guarantee your spot in class, but failure to cancel your reservation will result in a penalty charge of $18 regardless of your current class pass. (Or you will have a class deducted from your class package).
